Despite the best efforts of the project management team, changes or claims often develop during the execution of the project. When a change is initiated, The Thomas Consulting Group often assists owners, architects/engineers and construction managers with interpretation, analysis, and equitable resolution of change order pricing or claims. This effort may include independent evaluation of the change and subsequent negotiation support to the owner, architect/engineer and construction manager. When the change is agreed upon, The Thomas Consulting Group assists in the proper documentation and subsequent payment of the change order. Often The Thomas Consulting Group’s change order administration role is coupled with claims avoidance/management activities.
